Default How to install upper and lower auto shifter seals?

Do they simply sit on top of each other?? I only see one slot in the housing....

Its look like that the seal is a sandwich between the two brackets.

I could be mistaken, but I believe he is asking about the thin plastic seals that fit over the shifter lever and slide back/forth in the curved metal guide. And the answer to your question is... "Yes." The one with the round hole is on bottom; the slotted one goes on top.

I am also trying to take apart my center console to replace the shifter slide shields... Does anyone know how to remove the old shifter seals to put the new ones on? My shifter console seems to be hung up on something, so I cannot just lift it up completely to access underneath. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Maybe the two screws that in the bottom of the center gauges panel, they go in the front of the consol, you need to release the nuts.
