Default Would you buy this?

Quite interesting and the price seems in the correct range for this rare C3 Ferrari knock off. Don Johnson's car?

I'd only buy it if it were black with wire wheels, and came with a pair of white linen pants.

I think it looks pretty well done.
It seems like a 'penile implant'. It's not what it was and it's not what it looks like at first glance.
Merry Christmas

Alan

Not sure what the "correct range" is on a dated kit car that they made a million imitations of in the 80's.

No. A kit car never retains any value. Although that one looks well done. But I'd keep my $25,000 in the bank.

You're asking in the wrong forum.

I wish C3's were selling for as much as a lot of replicas.
The good replicas or "kit cars" as they have been referred to, do bring very good money. Gt40's start at around 70 grand and go up from there. Cobras start a slight bit less.

A friend of mine had paid more than 40 grand each for Ferrari replicas, kept them a couple of months and sold them at a big auction, making over 20 grand apiece on them.

Check sales records thru the big auction houses.
The value of Ferrari replicas vary a lot by model number, so do your homework.

I would pay $17,500 for it.. But not near the 25K buy it price... If it was a beck spyder.. maybe 25K. It is however very nicely done..

Kinda looks like a delorean with that headlight setup? The only kit I'd buy personally is the cobra. But then, I'd want to put it together myself anyway.

Same here... I'd only have a kit I built myself. I sure wouldn't pay more than the bare bones for a kit car.
