1) Does not close all the way, but does lock.
2) Takes some amount of force for the latch to actually lock
3) **** is extremely loose, actually is able to just spin
I've taken the whole asembly apart, but could not find a way to actually remove the lock itself.
So I'm thinking possible solutions replace the lock itself
Seems like the lock needs to be replaced, I can push the compartment all the way so that it flushes to where its suppose to be, but when it locks it loosely locks itself and it hangs a bit.
Good link but I seem to remember that if the key (if you have it) is inserted then the tumblers will drop into place and all that is necessary then is to depress the one (first) "tumbler" and the cylinder itself will come out. This is of course if everything else is working like it should !
Good Luck,,,Peace, Moosie
