forum help, email notification

I went to this under edit settings I think, "Default Thread Subscription Mode" I selected "no email notification" and then went to the bottom of the page and selected "save settings" or something. But I am still getting tons of emails about updates to threads I have posted in. How can I make it stop?

You may have to go in and delete the subscriptions you have. You won't receive emails for new threads, but ones you already had subscriptions to will still be sent.

in the bar at the top of the page, click "quick links"
and then go down and click "subscribed threads"

just delete all the ones listed there.

hey thanks guys, knew there had to be a easy answer.. now if anybody can tell how get search to work very well I'd be set!

I work across the street from M.I.T. Maybe I can get some of the scientists to look at the Search function.
