Dash lights

No but I have on very rare occasion cut a piece of tinted acetate that allowed the lights to remain the same but cast a different color for my customers who wanted it It does take time and patience and does look pretty good if you are looking for a change. It requires removing both speedo and tach, installing the acetate and then re-install the gauges. It would be a nice evening sumertime garage project.

I have an 1980 Vette.
Yes I have replaced with red lights from Whitegauges.com
Its cool at night but the led bulbs are not enough to see clearly the numbers on your dials.
Now I'm waiting for another order from Silvervette.
Use the "search" tab to find the post. His lights are apparently lot stronger with better results.
According to the mail tracking system, I will receive the package next week.
I will be posting the BEFORE and AFTER results....
Attached are pictures of my dials with white backgrounds....
It looks pretty sharp at night. Nice red glare at nice but just a tap to weak !
Will post the results next week !
