I don't have a corvette tattoo yet....
And since my son is a tattoo artist so cost in no issue, just what, how big, and where. BTW I'm going to guess you paid $150-
Isn't that like getting a tattoo with your girfriend's name? What if you will wake up one morning & suddenly realize that you like Mustang more than Corvette??

You just don't tell Corvette. No need for Corvette to ever know about Mustang.
I paid $120 plus tip. I had a really good artist (obviously mine was pretty simplistic for him), but I'll tell you, shin bones and achilles tendons are pretty rough.
I don`t have a Corvette tattoo but back in 2000 I got a Chevy bowtie with flames on my left shoulder blade. Colors are Red, Orange & Yellow.
This way I can own any Chevy......
you know I dig the hell out of vettes, but until Chevy pays me montly I dont plan on becoming their billboard...even then I would pass....but they are cool to see on other people

I got one as well, middle of the back. It is a couple of years old now and was my first tattoo. He left the white checks skin color to keep from getting a milky look and addes some gray shading in there as well. I really like it!!
That tattoo is sweet. Honestly, that is how I wish mine turned out, but I took him a picture of an emblem. I like it, of course, but yours would've ideally been what I wanted.

Wow, was looking for a for sale thread I had a part in and came across this. though I might as well bring it back, as I have added another. One for my C3, and one (below it of course) for my C5!

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
