Default Price For a Factory GM 1969 Big Block Hood?

What is a fair price to ask for a factory GM 1969 Corvette Big Block hood that is in excellent condition? Still has the factory 427 emblems on it and the factory weather stripping. No repairs or damage to the hood at all. One coat of silver paint and primer over the factory RiverSide Gold paint job. Thanks.

If the hood and all the trims, emblems and the weatherstripping is in excellent condition, it should get you anywhere between $800-$1300. If I was looking for one and my car happens to be gray, I'd pay closer to the top end price because I would not have to repaint it.

It's worth what you're willing to pay for it. If he's had no bite's(which I doubt), he may take less. If his phone has been ringing off the hook for it(more likely), then the price goes up.
I call it supply and de-man. If he's got the supply, then he de-man!

Actually.. ignore my previous post. In this economy?.. no way.

Realistically it should get you around $ 300-$400

What's your number?

If there are no repairs its worth a couple extra bucks. $700-800 for a GM hood is the norm. I bought one from a Forum member at a decent price, but my body man had to spend way too much time redoing underneath repairs, etc on it once I got it. It's nice if you can see it before you buy.

$900-$1100 is what I've seen them go for without the emblems or numbers.

Press molded repo bb hoods aren't much less, check with vettesbydesign He has the repo hoods for sale in the for sale section
