inline fuel filter necessary on my 76?
Hey guys,
I have been reading up on replacing my old rubber fuel line and replacing it with a hard fuel line with a inline fuel filter.
I have a edelbrock carburator which has the filter inside the hose barb inlet end which will only allow me to attach a rubber hose. In order for me to install the hard line with -AN connection i would have to replace the inlet for a -AN inlet, but I am not sure they have a filter attached to these -AN inlets.
Is this a good idea? Is the inlet filter at the carburator necessary or would the inline fuel filter be sufficient?
thanks

Not exactly sure about Edelbrock but I know that when you install a quality dual feed line setup on a Holley carb you have to take the factory filters out of the inlets and throw them away or it's not compatible. I'm sure somoene else may have the proper answer re: Edebrock but if not I'd call their tech line and pose the question.
