A brief pictorial of a stormy love affair with a happy ending
Here is my baby the first time I set eyes on her. I had been burned before, so this time I vowed to move slowly.
I wanted to get to know the inside of her as well as the outside.
She told me that getting to know her true beauty would take time because she had been hurt also.
I was determined that she was the one for me no matter what came between us.
Little did I know just how bad it could get...
Why is it that the real hot ones have all the problems?
Or is it that anything worth having is worth working for?
Years passed...
(I just hated the sanding)
I am sure she must have felt neglected by me as well
Anyway, I took her to a local paint shop over the weekend and think they did a great job. I could not be happier.
Thanks to everybody for the motivation, information and encouragement.

Hi John,
It looks like things are coming along nicely now!
Your lucky she didn't catch someone else's eye as the years went by. That can happen when they don't get the attention they deserve.
I look forward to some more pictures, as you progress !
Regards,
Alan

Not quite the story nor the happy ending I thought was being discussed
but never the less this story is also great. It's nice to see cars in that shape
being returned to a better life. Great job so far look forward to seeing your
progress.
Thanks,
Riggs.
