That's awesome !...Great pics !....My father was a foreman in the Tonawanda NY motor plant from 65-92...He used to bring home those foil rocker cover stickers that went on the late 60's early 70's 454's...I had a pile of them, but do you think I can find just one now ? I wonder if any Vette motors came from there. I know they made 350's, 396's, and 454's there.....Great thread idea !
I would have loved to have worked there then, building Corvette big blocks. Unfortunately, they didn't have much use for 4-10 year olds!

Great Thread! Great Pictures!
Being in St. Louis, if you own a vette you come across alot of folks that worked in the old corvette plant. Tons of stories. When we toured the bowling green plant, we were talking about being from St. Louis and a few of the personel down there came up and told us they used to work in the old plant and transffered to the new plant. Had all kinds of stories & questions.
Very cool!

Real cool pics! Seeing these reminded me of a lot of things I saw when I took a school tour back in the early 80s. When were the first crossfire engines going in? That was the big excitment going on around there when I walked through the whole line process. Glad I clicked on this, real cool! Thanks!
