Thank you Chris.

I'm not sure I know how to save it... but we should have this on the site in the next round of upgrades..

Were tinkering with it right now. If not, I may be able to email out the file.. I've not looked to see how large it is. Let me check on this.

Willcox..

Ok, I may take this a step further. I've got one of the guys in the shop working at putting kill switches in frankenmeter (our test machine).

This will allow me to to kill power on individual wires and do some more testing. When a motor is hooked up to our tester it is wired just the same as if it were in a car complete with relay, and a stock switch. I'll get it done and see if this brings new light to the table on diagnostics... then maybe record some new vids.

The videos above illustrate how to test the motor off the car and what happens when the correct power and grounds are applied. You can verify the motors before you install them or test yours to see if the problem is the motor or the car.

Testing with the machine and being able to knock things like the grounds, and maybe the relay may be a way to diagnosis the problem on the car without removal. When they get this done, I'll take a look and see if it's worth doing.

Default Electrically Challenged

I have watched the very cool you tube vid on here a dozen times. My motor is not parking but runs on clicking with the by pass on and then smoothing out with the switch on. By pass off and nothing. I'm here cause I'm frustrated. We (Wilcox, you & me) had this working last winter. I only wanted to get the motor to park so I could install and adjust the arms. That was a week ago. I have tried it all, nothing seems to be wrong, power were there is supposed to be power, ground were there is supposed to be ground. New wiring harness, motor and switches.
Any body have any ideas ?

John...

Missed this post... sorry..

go to the 1969-1972 video.. and at or around the 2.17 mark.. see if this is what your motor is doing..

If.. with the switch off.. the motor runs and clicks like in the video then you have a ground issue... it is illustrated at the very end of the video..

Great videos!!!!

Fairly new to the site and am very impressed with everything Wilcox has to offer. I know where all my parts will come from.

Thanks again

When you push in the switch to make it pump it makes a noise for about 8 seconds then stops..maybe the pump piston going..but nothing comes.out? Any how I think it may need some new gaskets in there ..sounds like you got a new customer as I am sure this thing needs some part or another to fix it..
Thanks for the info.

Had someone one looking for how to test the motors, this has always been the easiest way to let them know. There is more information on your wiper system at this link.

Corvette Windshield Wiper Motor Wire Schematic 69-72 with test
http://willcoxcorvette.com/repairand...elp.php?hID=95

The washer pump for the windshield and for the headlamp washers are activated by the same wires, the blue and the yellow that also run to the wiper motor three wire connector.

The windshield washer pump works off a diaphragm pump but the headlamp washer is controlled by a solenoid and pump.
