DeWitts Radiator /Spal Fans - Ground Strap
I understand its a good thing to ground the radiator with a braided strap. Where did ya'll get the ground strap and what length/width did you get? Also - where did you connect the ground from and to.. thanks

any suitable wire could be used. but i think your best bet is to get a sacrificial cathode form summit(or others), as a way to prevent corrosion. and with the newer antifreeze formulas, i wonder if that's needed.

Thanks Jefft/John....
Jeff - I saw one other CF member with a braided ground - looked real nice - that's why I was hoping to get the ground strap.
John - why does that have an affect when the temp unit is in teh radiator (and mine is). I will probably ground it where the headlamp harness grounds at the front left area of the core support.

kaiser,
Because the radiator is (probably) sitting on rubber cushions and connected to the engine with rubber hoses - rubber doesn't conduct electricity.
