Default Do you drive your C3?

I am guessing the question pops up a fair amount but I was just trying to recall the last time I saw a C3 running down the road....not heading to or from a show or cruise but just out being driven...seems when I do see one they are 80-82's...in less than great shape.

I realize the hardcore for investment purists can't drive their cars much or at all, everything from mileage to the possibility of a pigeon farting on it could cost the owner money,
So I will give grace to the collector cars that do not get driven, but the rest of the real world...how much do you actually drive your C3...anyone use their C3 as a daily driver?

Also when was the last time you saw a C3 in traffic that as far as you know wasn't part of a show or cruise.

I saw two in the past week on I-4. One was on the shoulder...

Both were 80-82's...

I drive mine 2 or 3 times a week to work if the weather's good.
Of course the summers here are short, so over all, it doesn't get driven much.

I just bought a second one so I could have one to drive and one to "clean up" and "preserve". I do drive mine but not a lot because I'm retired and don't go out every day.

I saw one out this week.

that includes rain, sun, and up north, even SNOW....

when/if it breaks I fix it, when I can't fix it anymore, I can't DRIVE it anymore....

I try to drive my 72 convertible a couple of times a week when the weather is nice. I see a black vert (70,71 or 72) cruising the country side when I go out all the time. We wave and I know he thinks the same as me... why is this guy always out driving when I am?

I drove mine to work today. I know its an 81, but it is in great condition. I drive it every chance I get when the weather is good, and in the summer it will be the Vette or the bike every day to work, the truck on rainy days....I have too many toys. :O)

81's are a sweet year...I drove this one in the mid 80's daily.....

went thru a rear end, a wiped lobe, then when the motor was at about 90K in 89 I did this to it....it started as a rebuild and ran amuck

Sold the car to a cop buddy and then it went overseas....

Yep...to Sat nite meets or CARS Road shows where it mingles with other muscle cars. Occassionally to work. I also take it to the track for 1/4 mile runs but usually haul it down on a trailer for that.
