Torq thrust ll rims
Hello all, I read and read and just want to confirm before I pull the trigger. Will torq thrust ll rims fit my 1969 Corvette with no modifications? Here are the measurements they are giving me.
18x8. Offset 0 mm. 4.5" backspacing. (Front)
18x9. Offset 0 mm. 5" backspacing. (Rear)
Quoted price $1126 shipped to my door
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm sure someone will check in who's done it and I believe it's been done, I think you'd still have to be careful of the parking brake bracket on the arm / cable with the extra 1/2" of BS.
My wheels are currently off again so when I put the rear back on I'll check clearance on the arm though and report back

Not on 17 inch or bigger wheels due to the wheel, but now you would have to look at the tire getting close to the cable. The hanger will be into the dish of the wheel. The tire clearance on the spring and spring bolt needs to be addressed as well

My tires are 235/55 almost exactly 10" wide at the bulge and measure in from the bulge to the mounting surface of the rim 4-5/8 ~ 4-3/4" depending on my paralax
My parking brake is relocated to the top but it looks like the bracket would be inside the rim lip be a little so it would clear
Between the tire and the trailing arm I can just put a 1-5/16" wood block and it sticks so probably about 1-1/4"
Keep in mind my parking brake cable isn't there so it's probably about 1/2 ~ 5/8" out from the arm so that would take the clearance down to 5/8" ~ 3/4" which doesn't seem too bad with the 4" BS
Looking at mine, going to a 4.5" BS would seem pretty tight to the parking brake cable if it was in the original spot and if you went to a wider tire (like a 255, assuming using the same 8" rim) it would get even tighter
I was thinking someone who's tried it would chime in
Anyway, that's what I see on mine, YMMV
(the rear sway-bar is actually slightly closer but the wheel is hanging down and I think it will more away some as it comes up so I don't think that's an issue)
