Hey Guys I am going to put Side Pipes on my '69 and jus looking for advice on the Patriot & Dynomax side pipes. I had Hooker's on my '72 and I liked them, nice and load, awesome look, but fried the Girlfriends leg.

Right now I just have stock manifolds and exhaust. So if I go with the Hooker headers and side pipes its pretty straight forward. I have been looking at the Dynomax 89300 kit at Summitt and they have a Patriot kit as well. I don't know how they sound or how they fit since the seem to be "Universal" and not specific to the Vette.

Thoughts? Comments? Pics?

If you like Hookers, but don't want your lady friend(s) to have a Hooker tattoo, there's always Bangkok Dean's Steel Shields...

Hookers are a good option as they don't reduce ground clearance like the Patriots do.As mentioned above there are solutions to burning the legs of friends and family when exiting the car with hot side pipes.

I am a little twisted...every time some one gets in my car I tell them...

look, I am going to tell you this and you are going to burn yourself any way, and then I am going to laugh at you...but when we stop, make sure you step over the pipe because it will be hot and leave a nasty red welt.

8 times out of 10 I get to laugh at them
