Right before the movie came out I bought a '73 Impala four door. (for $50) It was nicknamed the Batmobile and even had a big silver bat spray painted on the roof. (leave me alone, I was 16 at the time) I saw somewhere the making of the movie special and about fell over backwards when they said what they used for a platform. The Batmobile was twice as long as the C-3, but the lines were reminiscent of the C-3.

I personally think it looks pretty good. As far as customs go, and the wierd stuff that's out there, to me this is one of the better ones. I gotta give it to the guy that built it, there's a lot of work in it. I wonder if another color besides black would give it a better or more interesting look?

I'd sure like to see more progress pics. Was this a 73 coupe, sedan, hardtop? Also, let's face it, lots of 73 Impalas are lowered as much as that if not lower already haha.
