This is a 4" American High Rise ( I think Vanacor still has them) that I modified for ram-air.

Ram-air box:

4" Ecklers high rise. Ecklers also sells the air box as an option as the hood above shows. Fit was good. Just had to shape the front edge to match the car. No waves. Quality material.

This is a Vanacor hood, I am running an air strike dual plane intake with a 3 inch drop base air cleaner with a 77o Holley and I have about 2.5 inches of clearance

Default Hood

The forum will not allow me to post pics so if you e-mail me I'll send them to you.. We kept the original hood and added a 4" rise... That way the hood fit and sped up the process... We put a ZZ383 in and it's a little taller than the L-48...
