Bought a 04 Z06, but still love my 70's
Offloaded a 04 Z06 into my garage saturday night before this big storm.
She was less then 200 miles from the house so my transporting cost where minimal. All original with the tires and even the battery which is on it's last leg. I have it on a battery tender now.
The cars PO was a doctor and it was well cared for. The mileage is 10800 miles on the car.
Heres a few pictures.
Now I have to get a lift to stack these toys.

Congrats on the Z! I can relate. I love my Z06 but driving the '69 is a whole different experience. It gets more looks than the Z does and everbody who doesn't know better thinks it is faster. Again, congrats! Nice rides.

Thanks for the compliments.
I know I'll enjoy this car during the summer months when it's about a 100 degrees out and I'm in the AC.
Drove the 70 convertible to KC last year (200 miles) when it was 97 out. Man that was hot.
loflite, I get all kinds of waves a thumbs ups in the 70.
In the mean time I'll spend the remainder of the winter detailing the Z.

As far as the hat numbers are I'm not sure, but I had twice as many in a black trash bags when I moved into my house and think they got mistaken for trash and you can guess the rest of the story.

I almost went and looked at a 2010 or 2011 GS but backed away from that idea cause I dont want any payments or debt these days.

Hi garage-ghost and GQ82,
I didnt know the stats on the MS 04 Z06 was only 967. Hummm! Better keep them miles off the car. Thanks for the information.
gq82,
My first look at the car sitting on the ground with my lights and mirror looking at everything looked ok. But when I loaded it on the trailer and crawled under the trailer to take the pictures I was really trying not to grin from ear to ear.

I'll have to add myself to the list of C3 Owners which also own a Z.Hubby and purchased a 1973 in June,2010 then purchased a 2003 Z-06 in Spetember, 2010.
I'll agree with the "WARM" Missouri summers while driving a C3 Without AC. Hubby placed a meat therometer on the floorboard, passenger side, after we drove approx 45 miles. The temperature was 122 degrees.

I'm sure I'll drive it more for long distance trips then the 70, but the long distances will consist of 400 to 800 mile trips now and then.
I didnt keep track of the total mileage on the vert last year but it was around 2100 or 2200 fun miles.
If I put 1500 to 2000 miles on each car this year then that would be a bunch of driving for me. Hope the weather gets nice so I can get started.
