I am finishing up my 71 SB and was going to take a break before getting back to the 73BB. You just inspired me to get right back to the 73!

Default OK, a 454 swap is definately possible right ?

I am considering a 454 swap from my L-82 350. However, some of you guys are making me second guess my capabilities, with some of this posts comments.

Is there anyone that can shed some positive light on the 454 swap ?

Thanks, Dave

Hey Sarge, That is a sweat engine compartment. I wish my 73 454 was that clean. I need a little more elbow grease to get it looking like yours.

Any secrets you can share for making it look that good? Or, do you live near Houston and want to do mine? My wife wants a new fridge, carpet and drapes, but I can stall her and give you the money! It really looks great, not over done like so many appear.

Thanks Dave, all that was done with the engine out on the stand, gives you alot more room to work in there, it does get pretty tight.

I guess the biggest secret is like I told Dave, most of it is done with the engine out. When working in the compartment of a BB you tend to lose a bit of skin off the knuckles, as most BB owners will confirm.
