You have to be the only one out there... Because when I'm asked what car I drive and answer "an old Corvette", the reply is usually "a Sting Ray"? And I say "yes (Stingray of course)", they are always really, really impressed

That may be, but to me my '69 has always and forever will be a Corvette. I don't think of it as a Stingray or any other kind of fish. If civilians (non-owners want to think Stingray is cool, that's ok, but it's my Corvette.

except I like the '68 front fenders without the stupid STINGRAY script on the sides. Cleaner looking in my opinion. 
You have to be the only one out there... Because when I'm asked what car I drive and answer "an old Corvette", the reply is usually "a Sting Ray"? And I say "yes (Stingray of course)", they are always really, really impressed
