Not sure what is going on with KISS and cars this week. Though this technically does not belong to Ace anymore, I also saw that Paul Stanely was auctioning off an '05 Mercedes.
So I know the pictures are horrible but I can not see the sig on the drivers door. Its only there in the Pictures of him signing it. Guess it could have washed off?
The Vette that Ace owned is currently owned by a woman in my area, but I don't know her. It was at the shop where my vette is being worked on. I asked one of the guys why it was there, and he said it needed a bunch of stuff, but it cost too much to repair. That's all I know.

Don't count on it. There is an Epiphione sig model of alot the big "rawk" stars that have a Gibby model. Slash has one as does Zakk Wylde. They make great give away guitars considering what the Gibsons cost these days.
this is the third time it has been listed and finished as a no sale. someone sent me the link to it originally (because he knew i was a KISS fan and owned a 78 pace car already, lol) and that was back closer to thanksgiving.
Boy, up to $23,000.00 and reserve not met for an auto, L48. She should take the money and run. NO pics of engine compartment nor undercarriage and no mention of repairs done on a 56,000 mile car.
In addition there is no documentation that Ace owned the car. Just that he had his signature notarized. The notary does not verify what he wrote in paragraph is true.
"And the devil sat in the passenger side of DeLorean's automobile, said 'Hey Frehley Frehley let's not be silly there's a life out there to steal", yada yada, and so on.
The car is beautiful but I think I'd rather have one of his guitars, (but not that shlepiphone) lol.
In 78 none of the cars had the decal applied at the factory. The decals were placed in the storage area behind the seat. The buyer decided whether to put them on.
I'm not familiar with ebay bidding but noticed the bid jumped from $24,500 to $40,000. Nothing in between.
If the buyer backs out, do they avoid any fees and then sell to the 2nd offer privately? $40k for an undocumented pace car is crazy unless the guitars are worth @$20k.
I know but the actual Pace Car that year was yellow, so would only the yellow Pace Cars have the decals or would all? I don't think I've seen any other color 86 Pace Car with the decals.
For the 78s, was is just the door decal that didn't come on the car? What about the hood stripes and I've also seen some bird on the quarter panel on some.
