Interior parts question
I'm getting ready to finally finish the interior on my '77. I used to deal with Ecklers but it's been a couple of years since I ordered anything. I'm gonna be replacing the door panels, carpet etc. Can anyone recommend a vendor they've used for these parts and had good luck with the fit and finish??

WILCOX.... !!!!! almost everything I ordered from them was drop shipped from Corvette America (top notch stuff) at a price that was much cheaper then dealing directly with Corvette America...

80-90% of the parts I've installed on my 72 LT1 were from Willcox.... As mentioned they are much cheaper and good turn around. Don't fail me now GUYS I am about to re-do my own seats.

Hi bc,
There are only a few manufacturers with many vendors selling their parts. So it's a good idea to ask who's parts you're buying to determine if you're getting a good price.
Good Luck!

Alan

Al Knoch for seats and covers is well known for his quality. Corvette America is the supplier for most of the vendors tha tdeal in interior stuff. I travel often to the State College area where Corvette America is located and have "visited" their facility many times. Very nice people and quality products. Some of the vendors have as good prices on their products, I usually wait for a sale on the big ticket items if I can. I just bought a Stay Fast top on sale.

Hey thanks for the props guys. Gordon, when you get that top on, I'd like a picture. One thing we don't have is a good clear stayfast top picture for the site.
Bass, we have a sale thread running right now too! http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-t...tarts-now.html

i'll ad my 2 cents also. wilcox is the only choice. i bought everything wall to wall for my 78 interior and couldn't have been happier with the price or the service. my personal opinion is to avoid ecklers if you can. unfortunately in my opinion they have really gone down hill in the customer service area.

I just ordered some interior stuff from Willcox. I messed up by not writing in the Forum sale code, but they came through and honored the sale. Also received a follow up call on the carpet. They wanted to double check the color. Can you ask for better than that? Also, the savings over other vendor prices was around $75 on a $400 order.

I am redoing the entire interior on my '79. I purchased everything from Eckler's and Full Throttle Corvette. Many pieces came in Corvette America boxes. Everything is good quality and was shipped fast.
Sam at Full Throttle is really helpful over the phone.
The only issue with Eckler's is that there has been a bunch of parts on backorder for over three weeks already. Their website does not show if the item is in stock or not and you will not know the status of the backorder unless you call.
