Default Vents not working?

In my 75, when I turn the heater control to defrost or heater it works fine. But when I put it on AC or vent, bi-level it won't blow any air. I'm getting ready to put my stock ac compressor in and am trying to figure out if there is a specific actuator or fuse for those vents. Any body had this problem? Any help will be appreciated as it is 84 here today. Thanks

As I already replied to your other thread my very similiar problem was a broken nipple on the back of the control causing a vacuum leak !

Sounds like a vacuum leak or a stuck blend door. No easy fix, but you could try removing the control wheels and see if there is anything evident... The problem is probably behind the dash.
Time to pull off the tops and put the windows down! Enjoy the heat... it's only going to be 35 here today.

There is no fuse. The AC system selector doors open and close by vacuum. The AIM is handy for determining correct color code on the vacuum lines and what each of the lines does.

If memory serves, on VENT, the door under the right fender and the kick panel door should be open.

Are the control wheels located in the console where the heater and ac controls are? Thanks again
