Hi bn,
I believe may people say that Al Knock makes very good tops if you want original type material.
Installing one isn't for the faint of heart. He does sell a video that helps the installation.
I'd say the weatherstrips are a seperate purchase from another vendor.
Regards,
Alan

What kind of top? Original vinyl? I like the cloth Stayfast better. Robbins is a top brand.

I bought a top and pads (don't forget pads) here. I have an appointment to have someone install for $450. About $900 total.

18 years ago i bought the original style top for about 250 and paid about 250 to have it installed. It still looks good after all these years. I just purchased a stay fast top and will install it myself. I have restored many a car. So why not the top. Take your time and dont cut corners and you will be fine.

I just recently purchased an Al Knock Stayfast top for my 72. There is more to buy then just the top to do the installation. I havent decided if Im going to tackle it myself or if I wil search for someone that will install it for me. They are about 300 bucks more then the original material top but they really looks nice. The material is top notch. Mine came from Wilcox during there sale about a month ago. I plan on buying a video to see what all is involved. I understand the process is a long complicated one but the most important thing i am told is to make sure the frame is aligned to the window before doing anything.
