So now I have a question, can you tell me if those kits will be enough to rebuild the suspension? As you know I am in Europe and need to order now or than wait for it 3 weeks...
http://willcoxcorvette.com/product_i...ducts_id=25237
http://willcoxcorvette.com/product_i...ducts_id=25852
and this for the body mount
http://willcoxcorvette.com/product_i...oducts_id=3036
My plan is to take it of the frame, rebuild the frame and front suspension and than paint the body and put it back, next step will be doing the interior nad engine compartment, the engine is already rebuild and running strong.

Follow this link, there is a body removal checklist, and some other articles you might find interesting.

I think you'll be fine with the suspension and body mount kits. Wilcox is an excellent vendor , so good choice there.
Again, I'd say away from the poly stuff and use rubber instead.
Be aware also that you're going to find many many other things that need attention once you take the body off. It's called 'workscope creep'

Today started the job with putting Vetta in to parts. As I didn't have a lot of time, decided to take one of my friends and work on the interior.
For sure the carpet is not original. But under it you can see, quite a good floor, not a lot of rust, luckly, or mayby that is just my feeling
Now some bad news...
Can any body tell me what the hell was this?! My feeling is that is related with rear window heating
And a bit scary part
Had some time left, so worked on the rear end
The frame restoration is going to be a chalange, as you can see that it is in a bed shape, but yupi, some one instaled a new tank!

Whoa..good man. Keep posting pictures!
But by experience and as many here would support...try to keep it driveable ..so you dont lose motivation!!! I for once can only do 1 task at the time....otherwise I end up with spare nuts and bolts!

looking forward to seeing how the birdcage repair comes out. Definitely not something I would want to mess with.

Dzien dobry, neighbour from Poland! I am from Lithuania, and I have been into Vettes for a while already. This is my 4'th one - 1968 tri power cabrio, first start of the engine after delivery (and my excited junior brother!):

I think if you were in the States, you would seek out a cage in good shape and just swap it out. Obviously, not an option where you live.

Yesterdat was a long and stressing day, with help of my friends we managed to lift the body.
The frame looks ok, needs sand blasting and welding, but generally not bad. Two body mounts in the body are broken, the 4th and 3th on the drivers side. Almost 100% of the body mount screws were very rusted and broke during dissasembly.
The other think is that the front of the car started to woble and alost dissconected from the body, any idea how it is connected with it?

Best of luck. My wife is from Poland (near Gdansk) and during my 2 trips over there to see her family I don't think I even saw one american made car let alone a muscle car. That is very cool. As someone mentioned, the gas prices there are through the roof - going to be tough. Wondering if it is even going to be hard to find gas as all the cars are diesel over there. Enjoy.

not a problem with gas, I would say only 40% are diesel powered cars, some times you can find gas stations only with gas, no diesel, but even those are very rear
