Default Anyone had an issue with o-ring calipers getting tight when hot?

I have had VB&P calipers on my car for a while now. Last time it was on the hoist after a freeway run - the tech commented on the tightness of the calipers. He asked what I was using and recommended the lip seals instead of the o-ring to due to piston tightness with o-rings. Was curious to hear if anyone else has had similar issues.

They probably get hot because of the tightness, not the other way around. The problem is most likely not with the calipers or seals. Flex lines, master cylinder might be culprit.

The seal friction is going to be much higher with the o'ring vs the lipseal. I haven't heard of it being a problem though. I just bought a set of o'ring pistons to install on my 78', have tolook close at them.
