My one complaint about the C6 is how wide it looks, especially from the rear; this solves that problem...

I think it would look better with flip up lights, but the C3 just isnt wide enough to pull off the whole look. I think the rear looks great though

The rockers and the blunt nose lose it for me. I have an 82 and an 06 and the two shall not be melded together. I think the uniqueness of each generation should be just that - unique. In this one's defense, I do like what I can see of the interior. The exterior, not so much.

The whole point of this kit is to beable to build a hot rod out of an inexpensive C3 that typically is not worth much restored. You can buy these project cars for $1000. to $5000. and go mild or wild with the body, interior and drive trans... kinda like what they did with the 32 fords 30 years ago and are still doing.. This was not intended to ruin a nice C3 and had no intentions of being equal to a C6.. but I had tons of GREAT response at the show and it was pretty much our first outing.. We are making a convertible version as well and have a C4 kit in the works.. Stay tuned.... Thanks for all the comments

THere was a guy a year or two ago doing this conversion. He had a thread on the forum. Is this the same guy, now with a finished product?
Interesting, but not something I would drive.

Kudos to you for the courage and determination to bring this to market during the most anti-business administration in our nation's history. As a small businessman, I have learned that "Pioneers sometimes get the arrows!"
As you explained, to make this work, one must start this project by rescuing a rubber-bumpered C3 coupe basket case. They are readily available in the $1-4k range. Convertibles will be a completely different story.
I wish you the best in your venture and hope to see you at Carlisle in August. Will you have the Vert version and C4 kit available for viewing?
I am sure you have noted the interest here in a C6 to C3 body conversion.............

It’s not bad looking at all, Hard to say what it is. It’s not a corvette anymore but whatever it is its made from Corvette parts. It reminds me of that old Johnny Cash song “One Piece at a Time”

I wouldn't do that to a nice C3, But if I were starting with a wrecked C3 I would be VERY interested in that!
