That is just a very frustrating thread IMHO.

The only flood story I have ever heard that turned out positive was a buddy of mine who got a pretty much new Harley that was flooded in Katrina. He paid next to nothing for it from State Farm.

He brought it home, took it all apart and replaced a few items like the seat, wiring harness and a few electronics. It looks and drives like new now.

A Harley isn't nearly as complex as a C6 however...
