Wow/Wow and Double Wow
I just saw the Mecum auction in Dallas last night, re-run. On October 10th a 69 black L-88 gaveled down @ $562,500. That must be a record high sale price for L-88.
I have a 68,427 car can I add aluminum and get a half a mil??? heads
I was shocked it was the most expensive car of the night.
Go Corvette!!!!

Recession must have skipped over Dallas
No shortage of $ exchanging hands at Saturday's auction.
I used to wince when I saw an LS6 chevelle bringing $60,000.
I know the 69 L-88 had allot of desireable features besides the motor.
For one it was the orig. Tuxedo Black paint. Not allot of black ones left from factory let alone the orig. laquer factory paint job still in tact.
Very cool car.
Private sales bring more interesting
