I did receive a PM reply. We will see. I haven't even been here 2 months but this place is great! If this were a Chevette instead of a Corvette board then I think I'd buy one of those ridiclous looking things just to be a part of this great club

Hey Jax, '81 owner here. I am in Pflugerville just north of Austin and there are several C3 owners in my neighborhood. Saturday 1/21 is the next Austin Stingrays and Sharks meet. Its a Vette get together at Pluckers next to Lakeline Mall. If the weather is good it always has a good turn out. I will shoot you my contact info as well.
