Default Pics of trailing arms

Anyone have any pictures of stock trailing arms before they are painted.
What I'm after is pics of bare (stripped or blasted) arms where it's very clear what the arm looks like, not after they have been POR-15'd or something that hides the areas

The areas I'd like to see would be the seam welds (top), spindle mount area, straight on into the front (where the bushing goes) and the back (inner) surface near where the arm starts to bend as it comes straight back from the pivot bolt (brake line bracket is around there)
My arms have some press marks in these area's that look planned but not factory.

Thanks
Mooser

I've got a couple unmolested trailing arms out in the garage. I can take some pictures this weekend unless someone has some pics handy and posts beforehand.

Press marks? After clean up I never saw any indication of press marks. My parts are all powder coated now, but you can see all the factory defects very clearly with them finished. Powder coat does not really hide anything, just a protective coating. The parts are readily accessible as the body is still off. I can take any photo you may want to see.

It looks like someone tried to make their own offset trailing arms. Both sides have been "bent" where they narrow down (just in front of where the e-brake bracket is).
At first I thought maybe it was just bent (curb type thing) but it looks to have been deliberate, both sides are more or less identical. I'll try to get a picture that shows it.
Oh well, while I'm here......
Thanks for the pics guys, always a great help

I had a feeling thats why you asked about press marks. Someone trying to make them into offset arms. Also, thanks for the compliments. Believe it or not most of what you saw in the before posts was a coating of good ole desert dirt on top of surface rust. Everything cleaned up beautifully.

Yes Sir; If you go to a good Frame shop, they will tell you that instead of redoing the proper shim job, on the old trailing arms, a a lot of the small shops will just bend them with a 36" pipe wrench, instead of rebuilding them. Install new ones. Have a great day. Gene

Yes Sir; I ordered a new shim set W/bolts. I cut the old bolt out with a Sawzall, laid out the shims on each side of the bolt, installed the new arm & put back in the exact new shims to match the old ones, on each side of the bolt. The frame shop didn't have change anything. Both my old arms had been bent at some time in their life. They told me that when you try to bend them back, to where they were before wearing out, they would kink. These were the easiest thing I changed in the suspension. LOL Have a great one Gene
