Default Thoughts on VBP products?

Wanted to see if anyone has used any of the VBP products and your thoughts on them. If i do decide to purchase the '68 project car Im looking at, I was thinking of going with their "Big Daddy" package including all of their suspension pieces, upgraded steering rack, brake booster, C5 brake conversion, and offset trailing arms to run wider wheels in the rear. My last '68 had part of their suspension kit on it when I purchased the car and I really loved both the stance, and the way in handled. Just wanted to see if there was anyone else on here with experience with their products. Trying to get as much info as possible before deciding on whether to sell my C5 and undertake a C3 project.

I installed their rack attack r&p system. It's not bad for what was available a couple years ago. I think there is a better system out now from Flaming River. The FR unit has a longer travel in the rack so you don't lose any turning radius like you do in the others. Other than that I also used their composite rear spring. Great improvement over stock! VB&P is a good company. They have been around for a long time and stand behind their products. All my experience with them and their tech support has been positive.

I agree. Vette Brakes Products is acers in my book. I ordered their O-Ring caliper conversion kit. Cheaper than anyone else; quality product and painless to install. They know their stuff. I'll use them again.

Both my front and rear suspension come from vb&p. They are solid pieces. I can't wait to have my vette on the road.

I've purchased many parts from them and will again. Always a sign of a good vendor/customer relationship!

good deal, sounds like they're the way to go for suspension and brakes and possibly flaming river for the steering rack. Thanks for the input

Roger That: all of the above. Most of what holds the front and rear of mine in place, came from them...

I've had the Vbp sport suspension in my 92 for 5 yrs and 40k miles. Still amazes me how well it made it handle. so I bought the grand touring kit for my 72 project. It's all bolted in, just not road ready yet. Can't wait. Customer service was great, I was missing the strut rods in the last order, 1 call and I had the parts pronto. Prices are some of the best too.

I have used a ton of their C4 stuff, and it all worked and fit great. Excellent customer service as well. I can't comment on their C3 stuff, as I have never used any of it.

I bought my suspension kit from Ecklers(biggest mistake I've ever made)

But it came with VBP offset trailing arms. they seem nice quality...
I know I've gotten other stuff from them but can't remember off hand what they were...

Back when i was keeping my wife's C-3 running, from what I could tell, most of the suspension parts that Ecklers was selling was re-packaged VB&P stuff......

Probably why it took them 7 months to get everything shipped and the right stuff shipped. Worst customer service ever.

Default Vette Products Suck

I ordered O ring conversion kits for my Corvette 2 weeks ago. I just called them to find out where my order was and they hadn't even sent them yet. They don't even have them in stock!

This isn't a winter project. My car has been up on jack stands for 2 weeks waiting for this incompetent company to send me the parts.
This car is a daily driver.

No more Vette Products for me!
