Show Us Your Man Cave

I just finished making a pub table for my shop. I had some bar stools but no where to set a drink. I used a 24" pre fabed table top. I finished it with many coats of polyurethane. I buried 4 C5 wheel center decals in it. I used a rotor from my sisters jeep for the base. I used a 36" 3/4" pipe for the leg with floor flanges on each end. The top one is screwed into the bottom of the table top. The bottom one is welded to the rotor. I used hammered black paint on the base.

I have 2 man caves. One is the garage under the house which is normally a mess and has no order about it at all other than storage for 2 cars along with my man junk but out the back of the house is my more enjoyable man cave which i called the MUDCRAB bar where on most Friday afternoons you will find beers,***** and a feed of mudcrabs. For all those who dont know about mudcrabs below is a video to show them . They are a delicacy.
Man cave 1 (garage)
Man cave 2 (mudcrab bar)
Mudcrab bar on a friday afternoon.
And finally a mudcrab video , they can pop your fingers off in the blink of an eye .

[QUOTE=my 76 ray;1579755638]Transformation of a dirt floor barn into a functional shop. Click on the pic for the slideshow. I did all the work by myself.
Awesome job!
I have a second garage with a dirt floor I've planned to do the same as you did to yours. How much did you budget for yours? I'm currently reworking the main garage under the house, but when it's done, I'll be starting on the next one......then a pole building for the four wheelers,..
Eventually I'll be able to get back to work on the Vette!

[QUOTE=Lupigiato73;1579755979]What is your clear height in your garage - Love that lift. Could have used it this weekend when I changed the rear crankshaft oil seal

My place before the re-do didn't look much different than yours. In fact, I use to trip over everything just to get to my car. You need to refinish the wall and the ceiling, add som epoxy paint to the floor and then the whole place will come together. It really takes thinking outside the box.

75vette your a lucky bastard your man cave is just as nice as your vette
here is my horrifyingly small man closet it fits the c3 and that is it if i want to use my air compressor i have an extension cord plugged in while it is pulled out of the garage setting running in the drive way so i can get around the car in garage to actually work on it
if you look behind the car behind the recumbent bicycle beside the stacked tires around the boxes of my wifes crap you can see my shop press i can't wait to move i hate this garage

Now you're thinking. Looks like you got some real good potential there. Have you thought about a heating system? Also while you have the ceiling roughed-in have you thought about leaving some room for a lift? There is a guy latter in this section that did.

It's a bit messy and full of junk. Hoping to add another 10x12 addition on the back this year, to clean up my tools, parts and storage area, it will be the workshop to help organize my space.
