MILO - the Hagerty site is awesome. The calculator has very good info and classification descriptions (1-4).
This should handily convince them to get closer to my number.

To those who recommend saving my car, i will quote my dad "the only person i can think of with deep enough pockets to resurrect it is an oil shiek!"

I'm curious why you are "not" going through your collector car insurance company and let them get reimbursement from the home owner's policy?
Your agreed value with them would help in this claim.

What problem did you encounter to go this route? Your experience would help those of us who have cars stored elsewhere.

Cause he didn't have collector car insurance.
