If you can find a copy of the 1962 Corvette News Vol. 5, No.1, it has a photo of astronaut Alan Shepard and his Corvette on the cover. Shepard is pictured with his 62 Corvette, in front of the GM Design Center.

I was at at KISS convention years ago and asked Ace about his Vette, I told him I had a white '77, and all he said was it was yellow. The line for his autograph was too long to get into a discusion so that's all I got. I wouldn't doubt he's owned more than one though.

Yesterday i read that Kimi Raikkonen(Formula 1 WorldChampion 2007)bought a 1974 Corvette that used to belong to Sharon Stones
He is now back in Formula 1 for the Lotus Renault team

Tony C... such a sad story. A great young player who had over 100 home runs at age 22. Also at age 22, severely injured by a baseball that hit him in the face.
He suffered a stroke in 1982 at age 37. Then entered a vegetative coma before dying at age 45 in 1990.
Many think the stroke was caused by being beaned by that baseball.

I'm looking for pictures and artwork of C3's to hang in my Corvette "room". Anyone know where I can find classic images like this one of Jimi Hendrix in this 69 ? There must be pictures of Farrah Fawcett and other famous people who were piquing in fame that posed with a C3 in their heyday...
