This vehicle is actually a very, very rare prototype testbed. Back in the early '70s, Vietnam was winding down, and the military was looking forward to the next war, which everybody figured would be somewhere in the Middle East. They wanted a fast-moving, hard-hitting reconnaissance vehicle, and this was GM's entry in the competition. The military ended up going with the Humvee. I think they may have made a big mistake.........


Keep the shiny side up! (Well, in this case maybe I should say keep the greasy side down......)
