Default A story of renewed love

k, I have had a 1974 vette since I was 19, bought with my own money. Put a lot into that car, it has a custom engine/tranny combo, body is custom (not crazy, very tasteful), interior needs a little love. I have also had a c5 for the last 3.5 years. Last year, i didn't spend much time in the C3. Had brake issues, etc and by the time I got them taken care of it was time for storage. cover had gotten dirty, and was not on the car. Cat got in the garage and walked all over it making it a muddy mess. Hadn't been in the car for about 3 months.

Well, today my wife needed the jeep and didn't bother to tell me. I went to take a cruise in the nice weather and couldn't find my C5 keys (same key chain as the jeep....). Finally decided to just take the C3. Checked all the fluids, nothing low. Connected the battery and it started right up. went to the car wash just for a quick spray and that beautiful red came right back out. Put about 50 miles on that car and fell in love all over again. Can't wait for a day off to clean it right and spend a few days in it at a few shows. Great to remeber how much I love that car.....

Yes, those pics are a couple of years old, but car looks the same. I do have pics somewhere of the rear, just didnt have them on photobucket. When I give it a good ol bath on my next nice day off I will get some new photos of the back with my good camera, love showing that car off.

Very nice car. I think I would let the C5 sit in time out for a while.
