High School Kids Dig my 69
Drove my car to school for the first time last Friday--it was the first time I have taken the car to work since purchasing it last December.
Wow... Groups of kids whipped out their smart phones to take pics, have their pictures taken by the car, and asked me all day long if it really was my car.
Today, the ASB suggested that the prize for winning a contest is for Mr. Kelly to take you to lunch in his corvette.
C3s are still a hit with high school kids.

Most of todays cars are so bland and nothing to look at , I get alot of admires in the 20 something group as well.

I am a teacher and REALLY want to drive my C2 to school but am always afraid of the 2 or 3 complete MORON kids who hate teachers and would do something stupid to it.
I ride my R6 instead on nice days and get a lot of kids on the bus dock going "Is that Mr. Arnold?"

Safety Car
I attended a very small rural school in NC. Graduated in '74. My 20-something, single, football coach drove a yellow '69, SB, 4-speed, factory pipes.
Damn, was it COOL!!!!
Needless to say, he was a HIT with all the JR/SR hottie cheerleaders, etc!! Also gave us guys a goal to aim for!!!
His was the ONLY Vette I ever even sat in, until I bought my 72 over 30 year later!!!
