Default Best price on vintage air for a 1970?

And, what is the difference between a small block kit and the big block kit? Just the compressor mounting hardware, or is it a totally different system? I am wanting to install it in my wife's 1970 small block this spring but might be putting a big block in this winter. Thanks.

I bought my perfect fit Gen-IV setup for my '70 350 from a vendor off eBay for $1285, free shipping and no tax. Earned $25 in eBay bucks as well. Parts arrived quickly and I think the auction is still going. They called me after my order to confirm year/engine/etc.

Their product is a real bi**h to install. Great customer service. Now the car overheats and does not push anywhere near enough air Make sure you "really" want to do the conversion. Im sorry I did.

Wow, you are the first person I have heard that does not like their conversion, sorry to hear that. I have researched Vintage Air on early C3 corvettes extensively and everyone loves theirs. I just ordered mine and hope it works out better. Anyone else have problems?

Yes I would really like to hear the feedback too. I have heard they don't push as much air as the factory air (which I have). Im at a point in my restoration where a decision has to be made, convert to vintage air or keep the factory setup.

I put the Gen IV in my '69 and love it. I didn't do the install but had a local shop do it and if I remember correctly that cost around $800-$1000 for the labor.
