I had a set of CCW wheels and would use Shine Seal. It's a little work for I would get a year between polish jobs.

Yup salt air & high humidity just kills polished aluminum without a coating.I love the looks of highly polished slotted aluminum wheels on the rubber bumper vette's.Was thinking of chrome but that would probably peel in a few years.Waxing the wheels doesn't make much of a difference either.PVD coating looks like the way to go.Shipping both ways is gonna be $$$$ more that the coating !

forget the way overpriced flimsy powerball. go to harbor freight or northern tools and pick up a buffing kit. comes with 3 buffing wheels and 2 kinds of jewelers rouge for 7 bux. . when i had my stock wheels they polished up like chrome billy
