81 MINT VETTE W/ 4 hood signatures!
We have an 81 vette with 29k original miles. Excellent condition with red exterior and silver interior. The hood was signed by Zora Duntov and Larry Shinoda. The car also won chip's choice in Carlisle. It was signed by Chip Miller and Bill Miller, a total of 4 signatures under the hood. Immaculate condition! Looking for a buyer and also car's value. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Where and from whom did you buy the car? We would like to know the story behind the signatures. We can agree it was, at one time, at Carlisle.

to be honest we don't know much about cars at all! the car was bought from an elderly couple in PA. Yes it was at carlisle and pictures were taken of all men signing the car. so there is no question to authenticity here. we have not listed it for sale yet. don't even know where to begin to put a price on it. we are two women, my sister and I, who own the car now.

Let's put it this way. You guys aren't going to retire off the sale of this car.

Hi Tara,
I saw the picture! It looks like a nice car!
My feeling is that those 4 men signed lots of cars and parts over the years. So it's kind of unique, but $$$$ ?, I'm not so sure.
I believe your car's value will depend on it's originality and condition.
So, do you know enough about it to describe it in some detail? If not, you may want to have a knowledgeable Corvette person take a look at it to assess just what it is.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

i had a local corvette dealer look at it...he said its a 10 out of 10 but wants to steal it of course. zora only signed a handful of hoods in his life. he mainly signed owners books and other small things. i was told to have all 4 under the hood is very unique....just trying to put a fair price on it so i don't let someone take advantage of me either...thanks

A little Google sleuthing confirms the latest the car could have obtained the signatures of Duntov, Shinoda, and Chip Miller on the same occasion was likely to have been Corvettes at Carlisle, August, 1995.
