Default Anyone know where to get these fender vents?

As stated, looking for a set of these. Ecklers apparently used to sell them but has nothing listed. Anybody have a line on them? They replace the egg crate side vents on the 70-72's.

The "egg crates" look better with the style car they are on, this style addition is the way my 75 was, and since no chrome bumpers that suited the style of the car. Unless you absolutely don't have the originals I personally don't think they go along with the style of the 72, just me............

to stick with the op's request for information,
you may have to adapt something from a later year, patch panels are available
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CORVE...item27c7281c11
you might also check with ACI, they dont have them listed , but they used to and still supply most of the venders and probably still have the molds available

Yeah, was thinking that. Thanks for the link. The other option I'm toying with is finding a cheap (good luck, I know) set of spare egg crates and modifying them to have the louvered gill look of the 68-69's.
Anybody have a spare pair? As long as they're not broken, condition isn't important as they will be painted anyway.

Yep. They bolted in and replaced the eggcrates.

I haven't seen them in years.

Put a WTB in the For Sale/Wanted section.

Contact Josh Powers of Custom Image Corvettes. I gave him my prototypes and molds for these.

He can make you a set for your car.

I wonder how those four gills would look if they were at the same angle as the cut out for the insert. Sort of four parallelograms instead of rectangles?

Those are WAY nicer than the Ecklers ones! That was the initial look I was hoping to somewhat achieve with making fillers. Hopefully he'll do up a set, now waiting for a cost....
