Does Gray fall into the silver category? Hope so.

Give me another few months to get the body painted. So far just the engine bay :/

I picked the color because I wanted to be a little unique. Hope it looks good when finished!

Sorry...this pic is in the garage... not nearly as nice as when in sunlight.

Here is my Tungsten Gray Metallic 78. Looks silver most of the time. 1st time I have been able to drive it in January since I owned it.

You bet it does! My Steel Cities Gray 71 coupe turns from a greenish tint, to a gray, to silver, all depending on the lighting!

When I ordered my $800 for a gallon of Cyber Gray the guy at the paint store pointed out that it took 2 bottles of an expensive pearl. Mentioned that unlike a metallic flake(2 sided) the mica in pearls is 6 sided which gives it that vastly different look depending on the direction of light hitting the paint.

I have no clue how true that is but I do know it changes colors a LOT depending on light. I just hope it looks great on a C3 when done.

I have the blocks so they slide together- 2 parts- a couple carriage bolts slides in a hole and secures them together. Got it ½ way up- and use some 4 X 6 blocks under the jack - and lift it up the rest of the way up

Beautiful job, Would you post a few more photos of your engine? That looks impressive! Some really great cars on this post but nobody has shown me an engine that looks like that. LS3? please give some details.

It's actually an all aluminum BMW V12 w/ custom crossram ITB's

Don't want to derail the thread-

Here's my build website- http://www.stingrayv12.com/

hasn't been updated unfortunately- as the engine is running now-

Here's the build on the Forum here-
