I sold the car in 1979..it went through 4 other owners...and I bought the car back about 6 weeks ago. It's like driving a time machine

Love the car, great story.

The below pics of my 69 are maybe 2 years old. The rear tires are now 255/60/15s instead of the 275/60/15s in these pics. Other than that and a few passes down the drag strip, nothing much has changed.

After reviewing all of the "color" threads for our beloved C3s, there appears to be only one logical conclusion.

Blue Wins!

Sunstroked... Thanks for the comps. It's a custom mix but looks period correct. Should be on the road in a couple weeks. Can't wait.

And before you say anything, I know that is not how the emblems are supposed to be. The guy working on it over heard me talking to my GF about wanting to repaint the badges since they were getting worn, and well, this was a nice suprise when I got the pics.

Looks nice. I haven't looked into suspension to much yet, but your car looks lowered a little. What did you do to it? And how is the ride?

Hi ChaosPhoenixFix

I am running Speed Direct semi coil overs in front and longer bolts in back. Ride is firm but not harsh at all, Can adjust compression and rebound separately so you can smooth the ride well and choose any height you want. Great to get the vette sitting perfectly level.

All covered in great detail in my Build Thread.
