Just painted my Ontario Orange 72 Coupe! Pics inside!
Well as most of you know I had posted pics of the original paint on this car which looked a little tired. As you can see I finally decided to go for it! She’s now back to her old glory! The boys did an amazing job applying the Ontario Orange fire mist metallic PPG paint and clear coat. It’s flawless; can’t wait to get her out on the open road should be detailed and ready sometime this afternoon. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...io-orange.html

Hi OB,
Yes!
That really does look like a beautiful paint job.
People are always asking about the cost of a paint job. Would you be willing to post what you paid, and just what work was done?
Regards,
Alan

I can’t post price but let’s just say it was quite affordable for the work done. Car was disassembled, old paint removed down to glass, bodywork as needed, sanded and primed, sanded again, 4 coats Ontario Orange, 4 coats of clear, wet sanded smooth as glass and buffed. You’d be hard pressed to find a flaw…

Never understand why people won't post prices they pay for work done. It only helps other with their decisions. I for one post cost to help others and will alway do so. So in the event I post progress and you want to know cost just ask. It is what it is, no shame. BTW very nice color and work enjoy.

I know I’m shaking, I painted my Electron Blue C5 a few years ago and driving it out of the shop a truck in front of me with paneling tied to the back comes off the highway and the paneling few off and landed right on the hood of my car.
