Default Jegs intake

Hi Guys, is this a descent intake? I have an old edelbrock on now (don't know model since it was on when I got my Vette), that I'd like to replace and this looks like a descent price. Thanks for looking

You also need to be careful of the height if you want it to fit under a stock hood.....

Your Edelbrock intake should have a name stamped on it..Performer, Torker, Torker II, etc., or a part number in which to identify it.
Edelbrock has spent the time, research, testing, to design their intakes, in order to compliment other parts to acheive maximum HP thru a certain RPM range. I can't imagine the no name Jegs would be an improvement in any way.
Any one performance item is not beneficial to true HP gains. They work only when all accompanying parts (proper camshaft, headers, spark, carb, gearing, etc.) compliment/match one another, in order to achieve the desired results.

be very carful when ordering jegs intakes, I put one on a buddy's car and the distributer hole was off center and we had to take a drimel to it so the distributer would fit, some of the bolt holes didn't line up correctly either, very poorly made. the summit ones are a WAY better fit
