If the $$$ is safe in your account 10,000 post's or 0 post's wouldnt matter to me. No different than ebay. Good luck with the sale.

And if he uses paypal.. it's a no go... Tim there is a reason I say this.. Shipping to a non confirmed address is an issue if there is a problem. But if it's oversea's it creates an entire new set of rules..

Cannot give you any better advice than you have already received. Get the money first. If it is a check, make sure it clears. If it is certified or cashier's check make sure is is legit before sending.

"Thanks.
The only problem I have is that I live in Sydney Australia and the shipping company leaves from California. If I get the address can you organise freight to the dock? I don't want to cause you too much trouble so please say if its too hard.
Cost of freight may also be an issue.
Cheers and thanks for the reply.

"Hi,
Sorry, my response didn't go through for some reason. I live in Sydney Australia and would need to get the bumper to California for shipping. If this is too much trouble please let me know? It might also work out too expensive to do it from where you live.
If its not a problem I can get exact address to get costs.
Cheers

If the guy has not provided a name I would be leery.

I don't see a problem if all of your costs are covered and the money is in your bank.
It would actually show good faith on his part as he would have more to lose than you.
Make sure the cost for shipping to the California from your house is paid up front.
I have shipped a 200R myself using a shipping address in LA and it worked fine

No PayPal and No Western Union. Wire transfer is safest and then a 10 day hold is prudent. No problem shipping to a freight dock... it is a most convenient way for an overseas buyer to get the customs forms, brokerage and freight charges handled in a single transaction, and that effort and expense is all on the buyer. You collect your price, add the actual UPS or FEDEX to Cali, get paid, wait 10 days and ship... no buyer recourse through PayPal, no BS... it's a done deal. If you change your mind and decide to help this "mate" out PM me and I'll answer any questions you might have. I believe this buyer may be legit.

Okay may be able to help out with this.
Wire transfer will cost the buyer about $30 certified check in US dollars $10 any of these are fine. Shipping to La sounds like he has a broker there that is shipping out to Australia very common.
Just give him a total cost of part and shipping and ask for either of the above two and you will be good to go, its up to you if you wish to hold it for 10 days just be up front with him thats all.
I have no dog in the fight just trying to help out.
