Default 1980 Corvette Heater Blower Not Working

Help... My heater blower does not work. I have checked:

1. heat fan switch and it is working fine (follow Wilcox corvette video on
how to do this)....
2. I have replaced the heater blower relay
3. Checked the heater blower motor resistor and it is working
4. I have tested the heater blower motor and it is working fine
5. I checked the fuse and it is ok

I have power at the fan switch, heater motor relay and at the motor resistor. It should be working, but it does not. No power to blower motor

Does the air conditioner, heater selector have anything to do with this.

I am hoping I do not have a broken wire as I have no idea where to start.

Any help would be greatly appreciate. Did I miss something

After the items you've checked, it pretty much leaves the ground from the blower motor to the frame. As a test, run a jumper wire from the motor to a good ground on the block and see if it runs. Either that, or the power feed wire from the relay to the motor is broken.

Never thought of that.... I will do that tomorrow.
Also I never check to see if I had power to the blower motor
I will let you know what I find
Sure hope that works..... thanks

well worked on my heater problem today. Check to make sure I had a good ground on the motor and the ground is good. So I thought I would work my way back to the fuse. Checked power to fan...none. Checked power to fan motor resistor... now I have no power... check power to heater fan blower relay... now I have no power. Check power to heater blower motor speed switch... now no power. Ok that leaves two other things... blower motor fan fuses and acc equipment fuse. Checked both they are good.

I am totally stumped. I have the feeling that I have a burnt or broken wire between the fuses box and the fan switch. Or when changing fuses the wire to the fuse in back of the fuse box has come out.

Anyone got any ideas where to go next. I am ready to take it to the repair shop and let them sort it out. What a nightmare this has become.

yes I got it fixed. It was a fuse box problem. Fuse was not making contact in fuse clips. Took a while to find it. Thanks for all the help

Do you mind a little info on how you fixed it? I think I may be having a similar problem with mine!
