Default 1971 Mirrors
Hello!
I understand that 68-74 vettes had different mirrors than 75 and on...
What is the difference? Are the 68-74 mirrors the longer skinnier ones or the more square ones? Thanks

The 68-74 mirrors are the squarer ones. The wider ones were introduced in 75, to help improve rear visibility. The bases are the same for all 68-79 chrome mirrors, only the mirror head changed.

Common term is small head or large head. Earlier mirrors are small head. Later are large head.
