Nope.
Early 1990's C4, though, did have what could be considered by some as a purple. It was called Black Rose (I think that's the correct name). It looked like a very dark purple. Not may sold in that color and not offered for many years. either. I think C5 also had an Amethyst, that looked like a very light shade of purple.
I may have forgotten about another year or two that had what could be considered purple. hopefully, others will help me remember...
